Tell us about you as a mum right now , what does this season of motherhood look like for you?

Chaos, haha! I am currently hustling with my small business, raising two kids, 2 dogs and a chook and rooster for added craziness! My husband works FIFO, so currently it's pretty much me and my small village!

What were you doing before motherhood?

I was working full time in the Early Childhood industry, I LOVE to travel, and made it to 30 countries before I turned 30 which was amazing!

How did you come into motherhood?

Well when a mummy and a daddy love each other very much.... haha! Just kidding, my husband and I, we welcomed both our daughter (4) and son (2) via c section after 10 years together! I have always wanted to be a mum, and now I'm on a mission to create a fab community of mums to share the load of child rearing!

What is something you're currently navigating as a mum?

Solo mumming 90% of the time, starting and running a small business, leaning on the village i have to make it really successful and make my kids proud!

What has been bringing you joy lately?

My can do, yes attitude has brought me a lot of joy, I think that mindframe has given me a lot of opportunities this year, and I can't wait to see where it takes me!

Was there a moment that really shaped your experience as a mum?

Birthing was rough! And I still navigate the trauma that I am sure everyone can relate to. Taking it a day at a time, and growing every day!

What’s something that’s felt harder than you expected?

There's not much "community" out there, I am constantly putting myself out there as I feel lonely a lot, so navigating adult relationships is wild!

What’s something you’ve learned recently that’s helped you?

As I said earlier, saying yes to every opportunity... even if it's scary!

How has motherhood changed you?’

I've had to change my mind frame a heap. I've lost "myself" and only just feel like i am coming back!

What’s something people don’t always see about your life as a mum?]

The struggles! The tantrums! The loneliness! The comparisons of social media!

What would you say to another mum who might be feeling the same way you have?

We are not alone, we show up, we put everyone before ourselves and motherhood is the hardest thing I've ever done.

Is there someone who has supported you in this season of motherhood that you’d love to give a little shoutout to?

I LOVE my village, my mum and my MIL make my life so much easier!
